Anna Vogel visualises memories in her photography. Snippets from her own past meet abstract fragments of thought to generate new highly individual motifs. Areas on the image painted over or cut out draw attention to incongruous, even irritating details - but not without a sense of humour in combining staged photographs with seemingly random image material into photographic forays that remain wide open to interpretation.
