STIFTUNSPREIS Award for Sascha Weidner

Conrads are pleased to announce another important award for the German artist SASCHA WEIDNER, born 1976 and based in Berlin.
The prestigious STIFTUNGSPREIS FUER FOTOKUNST 2011 for young artists is awarded by the jury members Petra von Olschowski, Ulrike Flaig, Werner Meyer to  SASCHA WEIDNER. With a sum of 10,000 euros for the prizewinner, this is one of the most generous prizes for contemporary photography.
Artworks of SASCHA WEIDNER and the 7 finalists will go on display in a joint exhibition on November 21, 2011 in the museum KUNSTWERK / collection of Alison and Peter W.Klein in Nussdorf (near Stuttgart).

Further, Conrads  are happy to announce that  Sascha Weidner has been nominated for the  Deutsche Börse Photography Prize 2012 for his solo exhibition "Revolve" at Galeria Toni Tapies, Barcelona, on view until end of November.
